Against a wall overlooking the Drava River in Maribor grows a grapevine that has been bearing grapes for over 450 years. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest living grapevine in the world, and for four days at the end of September, the city celebrates it with wine, food, and music along the Lent. The festival concludes on Sunday with the ceremonial harvest of the vine itself.
